This was a project that I did over the summer of 2006 in order to learn the Lua programming language. It has a C++ back-end to interface SDL with Lua. All of the actual code is done in Lua. The game is a two-button game. That is, the left mouse button fires, and the right mouse button resets to the main menu. The current mouse position is the position of the ship. It is a highly object-oriented game, and the engine itself offers many nice features that have been provided by various SDL support libraries.
